Chirimen sends up many upright shoots eventually forming it's own mini forest of multiple upright branches all covered with tiny congested foliage. Takes full sun to part shade (protect from afternoon sun in hot summer areas) Chirimen wants good soil that is kept moist but well drained. If left untrimmed will slowly grow to 2-3+ feet tall at ten years and 1-2 feet wide depending on climate and culture. Most unusual is the placement of seed cones along the trunk.
