This is our smallest Japanese Larch for Mame or Shohin Bonsai. Photo shows fall color. Note the tiny needles, which are blue-green in summer, turning to shades of yellow and gold in fall. Shoots often marked with resin. Untrimmed will grow low and spreading to about 2 foot x 2 foot at 10 years. For Bonsai, troughs, small rock gardens or as collector's item. Very rare. Found as a witches' broom (natural mutation) in 1983 in Germany. Note that like all larch, Havebeck will drop its needles in winter!
